Speed Etransfers was co-founded by Yuliana Serrano-Garcia and her husband Chris Garcia. Chris met Yuli on a trip with friends while visiting Nuevo Laredo, Mexico. Yuli, originally from Castillo de Teayo, Veracruz Mexico, later moved to Austin to wed Chris in Kenosha, Wisconsin, and eventually resided in the Austin area. They located Speed Etransfers in Austin.

They later had their first child, Mia, in 2007 and their second child, Genesis, in 2014.

Mia is currently an elite gymnast and competes in competitions for USAG and aspires to one day be part of Team USA. She also enjoys serving at her local church on the worship team, along with recording in the studio in her free time. Genesis enjoys swimming at a local club, and also singing after having recorded her first single “Fly Me to the Moon” at the age of 7. Genesis also enjoys playing soccer and basketball for local teams along with recently beginning Karate.

The inspiration for SpeedEtransfers originated from the Garcia’s strong family values with the emphasis to believe that young women can become great leaders and role models for others. Yuli and Chris firmly believe that women can bring unique perspectives and insights to business operations, strong communication skills, and provide a positive social impact within the family, and also in the broader community and industry. They want to instill this same philosophy in their daughters, as well as business interests.
